You think you are significant, don’t you? The fact is that you are so tiny and insignificant that if you dropped dead today (as you most certainly will someday) the world you live on will swallow you up and forget you just as it has done to literally trillions who have lived before you. The world you live on, big as it may appear to you, is just one of nine (okay eight) planets that, together with the Sun and other objects, make up the solar system. So insignificant is your world that it is just one of the four small planets of the solar system. The solar system, itself is just one of billions of similar solar systems that make up the Milky Way galaxy. Your insignificant solar system is not even at the centre of the Milky Way galaxy and is found on the outer fringes of the galaxy. So seemingly large is the Milky Way galaxy that it takes light (you read right: light) approximately 100,000 years to travel from one end of the galaxy to the other end. Incredible, huh? Well, when you wrap your mind around the fact that your insignificant Milky Way galaxy is just one of over millions of KNOWN (yes, known, meaning that there are probably many more that are unknown) galaxies and that your insignificant Milky Way is just one of the average to smaller sized galaxies, is when you begin to realize the majesty of the One who put all this stuff together.
